National Student Nurses Association

Similarly to the state level, there are many ways to get involved at the national level through SNAPS. SNAPS goes to the annual national convention held in April every year. In 2019, SNAPS traveled to Salt Lake City, Utah for convention, presented and passed our second resolution at the national level titled “In support of increasing awareness of mental health disorders co-occurring with drug abuse”. You can join our legislative committee to work on resolutions similar to this one to present at the state and national levels. You can also run for a position on the National board. Kyle Loose is currently serving on the national board as a Director and leader of the Population and Global Health Committee. Reach out to him or SNAPS legislative chair for any questions or if you would like to get involved.
